Head of Maintenance

• Maintain the reliability and readiness of Engineering systems (Utilities, Mechanical, Electrical) to support production.
• Supervise equipment operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and safety compliance.
• Build and implement an effective, integrated, and structured maintenance system to minimize breakdowns.
• Evaluate and analyze operational issues, develop strategic maintenance/troubleshooting solutions.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and team in carrying out maintenance programs and activities.
• Provide guidance and supervision on factory renovation/expansion, including contractor/vendor coordination.
• Manage departmental budgets and expenses (project & daily usage).
• Prepare monthly reports (Maintenance, Utility, Gas, Electricity, Coal Costs).
• Develop and execute the Engineering Department annual budget.
• Coordinate with leaders across the manufacturing plant to determine work priorities.
• Oversee daily workflow of the Engineering Department.
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Ensure company policies & procedures are implemented.
• Develop the internal engineering team through coaching, training, and mentoring.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum years solid experience in maintenance, experience in the extrusion machine industry is preferred, with at least 5 years in a Manager / Assistant Manager role.
• Proven track record as a smart and creative mechanic.
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with machinery, PLC, and related systems / components, especially in extrusion machines.
• Able to perform mechanical / predictive measurements such as shaft alignment, vibration analysis, and machine alignment.
• Experience and understanding in machine asset management, including machine lifetime analysis, preventive maintenance, spare parts management, and risk assessment of production machinery.
• Strong understanding of engine performance ratio analysis and performance planning for continuous improvement.
• Experienced in managing the troubleshooting process.
• Knowledge of new machine installation processes, from FAT, arrival handling, installation, to commissioning.
• Experience in reviewing new machine requirements.
• Strong understanding and commitment to safety and 5S culture, with ability to embed it into team practices.
• Able to prepare reports and complete work orders according to responsibilities.
• Good computer application skills, including PLC software.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
• Willing to be on-call for emergency situations.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
