Senior Finance Manager

Role Purpose:

The Finance Manager is responsible for
managing the company's financial operations

,
ensuring financial accuracy, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining strong financial controls

. This role
bridges day-to-day finance execution with management-level insights

for founders and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
  financial reports

(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Develop and maintain
budgets, forecasts, and financial projections

.
- Analyze variances vs budget and provide actionable insights.
- Support strategic initiatives with
scenario analysis and business cases

.

2. Accounting & Financial Control

• Oversee
  month-end and year-end closing

processes.
- Ensure accurate recording of revenue, COGS, expenses, accruals, and depreciation.
- Maintain compliance with PSAK accounting standards and internal policies.
- Manage
chart of accounts

and accounting systems.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Monitor and manage
  cash flow

, burn rate, and runway.
- Optimize
accounts receivable and payable

processes.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and growth plans.

4. Tax, Audit & Compliance

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.
• Ensure timely filing of
  tax returns and statutory reports

.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation.

5. Business Partnering

• Act as a
  financial advisor

to founders, CEO, and department heads.
- Translate financial data into
clear business insights

.
- Support pricing, unit economics, and profitability analysis.

6. Systems & Process Improvement

• Lead and oversee the development of Majoo's internal finance system, ensuring it
  aligns with operational and compliance needs

.
- Improve finance processes for
scalability and automation

.
- Implement or optimize
ERP / accounting software

.
- Establish SOPs and best practices for finance operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams

(Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Experience) to implement data integration between systems (e.g., CRM, billing, accounting).

7. Revenue Management & Recurring Payments

• Monitor and reconcile all incoming payments from customer subscriptions.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales & Customer Experience Team to ensure accurate revenue tracking, including renewals, upgrades, and cancellations.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition for recurring and deferred income in line with SaaS accounting practices.
• Identify trends in customer payments, subscription churn, and potential financial risks.

8. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise and mentor the Finance, Accounting, and Procurement team to ensure high performance and adherence to deadlines.
• Foster collaboration across departments to support business decisions with financial insights.
• Support senior management with ad-hoc analysis and strategic recommendations.

9. Legal & Corporate Governance (Coordination Role)

• Act as the primary
  internal coordinator for legal matters

- Work with external legal counsel on:
- Corporate structure and governance
- Shareholder agreements and cap table accuracy
- Commercial contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
- Ensure timely filing of
corporate documents, licenses, and statutory requirements

.
- Maintain corporate records: board resolutions, shareholder registers, and legal documentation.
- Support compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.

10. Investor Relations

• Prepare and maintain
  investor reporting packs

(monthly/quarterly updates).
- Support BOD in managing relationships with investors, board members, and lenders.
- Support fundraising processes:
- Financial data room preparation
- Investor Q&A and due diligence support

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or professional certification is a plus point).
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, including at least 4 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in SaaS, fintech, or subscription-based business models.
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and subscription payment cycles.
• Experience in system implementation or process automation within finance operations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with any kind of ERP or accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Xero, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
