We are looking for a Senior Legal Import Licensing Specialist with strong experience in managing import permits and corporate licensing. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end import licensing process, ensuring full legal compliance, and coordinating closely with government institutions, surveyors, and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the complete import licensing process, including permit applications, renewals, and regulatory submissions. Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of all import-related legal documents.
  2. Submit import permit applications through the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) and Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) systems.
  3. Handle VO (Verification Order) and LS (Laporan Surveyor) submissions to external surveyor agencies.
  4. Monitor regulatory changes related to import activities and ensure company compliance.
  5. Liaise and maintain good communication with government authorities, customs officers, surveyors, and relevant stakeholders.
  6. Handle corporate licensing requirements as needed.
  7. Prepare periodic reports related to import activities and compliance.
  8. Provide legal support and recommendations for import-related issues.

  9. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to licensing or document discrepancies.

    Qualifications:

  10. Bachelor's degree in Law, 1–3 years of experience in legal affairs, import licensing, or regulatory compliance.

  11. Strong knowledge of import permit processes under Kemendag and Kemenperin.
  12. Experienced in managing VO, LS, and end-to-end import procedures.
  13. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  14. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  15. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
