Overview: The Ticketing Officer at WeTravel Indonesia plays a crucial role in managing the ticketing process for clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient service. The role involves a combination of customer service, administrative duties, and technical skills related to ticketing and hotel booking systems.

Responsibilities:

Ticket Issuance and Management:

  • Issue tickets and hotel's voucher accurately and promptly using the company's ticketing and hotel booking system.
  • Handle cancellations, reissues, and refunds as required.
  • Ensure all tickets and hotel booking comply with airline and regulatory requirements.

Customer Service:

  • Assist clients with ticketing and hotel booking inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Provide information on flight schedules, ticket prices, hotel rooms prices and travel policies.
  • Resolve any ticketing and hotel booking-related issues or discrepancies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records of all ticketing and hotel booking transactions.
  • Prepare reports on ticket sales, room bookings, cancellations, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with airlines and other travel partners to confirm reservations and manage bookings.

Technical Skills:

  • Operate and manage the ticketing and hotel booking software and systems effectively.
  • Stay updated with changes in ticketing procedures and airline policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to ticketing and hotel booking systems.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of ticketing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and follow best practices to maintain high-quality service.

Sales and Promotions:

  • Promote special offers and discounts to customers.
  • Assist in upselling additional travel services such as insurance, hotel bookings, and car rentals.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other team members to provide seamless service to clients.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay informed and improve skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a ticketing role within the travel industry.

  • Skills:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
