About the role

As the Medical Device Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the company's medical device business. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision for the medical device portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall business objectives. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta Raya.

What you'll be doing

  1. Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle management of the company's medical device offerings, from research and development to commercialization
  2. Identify new market opportunities and drive the development of innovative medical devices to meet evolving customer needs
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to optimise product performance and ensure successful market launches
  4. Manage regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficacy
  5. Develop and implement robust business plans, budgets, and KPIs to measure the success of the medical device division
  6. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented professionals to achieve the company's ambitious growth targets

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 8 years of experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation
  2. Extensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape, quality management systems, and best practices in the medical device sector
  3. Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalise on market trends and opportunities
  4. Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences
  6. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, life sciences, or business administration
  7. A postgraduate qualification in a related discipline would be highly desirable
