Job Summary

Our client, a well-established company in the
Pump Industry
, is seeking an experienced
Sales Engineer
to manage and develop the
Government segment
. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with government institutions, and identifying new business opportunities aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identify key market segments, customer groups, and geographic areas to maximize sales potential.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective
    government clients
    (e.g., PDAM and other public institutions).
  • Conduct regular sales visits, client meetings, and product presentations to effectively communicate product value and technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiations, and contract discussions in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipelines.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to monitor progress against targets.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    as a
    Sales Engineer
    , preferably in the
    pump or industrial equipment industry
    .
  • Proven experience handling
    government projects or accounts
    .
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good command of
    English
    (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.
