Responsibilities:

The role holder is expected to be a key member of the CIB CSEM, reporting to SVP CIB Business Risk

  • The role holder is responsible for the execution of CSEM process and RRCSC for CIB customers including, but not limited to:
  • Ensure CIB priorities are met within the context of Global Standards and client selection procedures.
  • Ensures customers outside HSBC's financial crime risk appetite are exited within the country and pose no further financial crime risk to HSBC.
  • Ensure cases presented in the RRCSC are properly reviewed, including making sure all approved items by the CIB RRCSC are executed in timely basis
  • Ensures in coordination with GCOO CSEM and product teams during the account closure process. Including making sure Exit Client letters are sent within SLA timing to allow timely closure account.
  • Measures, tracks performance of operational effectiveness of CSEM stakeholders through monthly MI production.

Requirements:

  • Has a minimum of Bachelor Degree with 5 years of experience in Financial Crime Risk.
  • Strong understanding of all types of financial crime and reputational risk.
  • Meticulous attention to details and ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of CSEM cases.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations for RRCSC meeting.
