We are looking for a skilled and committed Section Chef (Western & Asian) to manage daily food preparation and operations within the assigned section while maintaining high quality, consistency, and hygiene standards in our club kitchen.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations within the assigned Western or Asian section
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet club standards
  • Supervise and guide cooks and kitchen helpers within the section
  • Assist with mise-en-place and ensure readiness before service
  • Monitor portion control and minimize food waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper use of kitchen equipment
  • Coordinate with Sous Chef regarding daily operations and kitchen requirements

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or professional certification in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as Section Chef or Chef de Partie (Western or Asian cuisine)
  • Experience in club, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment
  • Ability to communicate in English for kitchen operations
  • Good leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Strong knowledge of Western or Asian cuisine techniques and presentation
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Disciplined, responsible, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
