About the role

We are seeking an experienced Factory/Plant Manager to join our dynamic team at PT Leon Boga Sentosa', a leading food manufacturing company based in Tangerang, Banten. As our Factory/Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production facility, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the production facility, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring of all manufacturing processes
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
  3. Implement and maintain effective quality control systems to meet production targets and customer requirements
  4. Lead and manage a team of production supervisors, technicians, and operators, providing guidance, training, and performance management
  5. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, RnD, QA/QC, maintenance, and engineering, to optimize manufacturing operations
  7. Analyze production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve overall plant performance
  8. Maintain detailed records and reports, and provide regular updates to senior management
  9. Lead and manage all production activities across the mixing, extruder, oven, frying, and packing processes to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.
  10. Ensure product quality and food safety compliance according to GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and Halal standards.

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Factory/Plant Manager or in a similar senior operations role within the food manufacturing industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding of production processes, quality control, and process improvement methodologies
  3. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  4. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly
  5. Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret and use data to drive improvements
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
  7. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the food manufacturing industry
  8. Min Bachelor's Degree in Industrial / Chemistry Engineering, Food Technology or related field.
