Job Description:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in legal and/or compliance roles, preferably in the mining or energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of mining, environmental, corporate, and investment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and proactive work approach.
  • Fluent in Bahasa and English (written and spoken).

Requirements:

  • Prepare, analyze, and submit compliance-related reports to relevant authorities (ESDM, BKPM, KLHK, OJK, PPATK, and local governments) to ensure timely and accurate regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor, interpret, and analyze applicable laws and regulations in the mining sector and other business units (property, F&B, sports, and investment).
  • Conduct compliance reviews and internal assessments to ensure company operations are aligned with current regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and regular review of company compliance policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents related to mining operations, partnerships, land acquisition, suppliers, and investment projects.
  • Provide legal and regulatory advice to management and business units to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Maintain and update the company's licenses, permits, and certifications to ensure validity and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential legal and compliance risks across all business units.
  • Act as the point of contact for compliance and legal matters with regulators, external counsels, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with government authorities to ensure smooth processing of permits, approvals, and regulatory correspondence.
  • Support internal training and awareness programs related to compliance and governance practices.
  • Prepare periodic compliance and legal reports for management review.
  • Provide assistance in handling audits, inspections, or inquiries from regulators or external parties.
