Job Description

  • Leads the 24/7 operation of the data center, ensuring seamless functionality at all times.
  • Serves as the level 3 escalation point for onsite operational incidents, major issues, and change management activities.
  • Manages M&E, security, network, plumbing systems, critical facilities equipment, and other DC-related systems (e.g., fire safety, plumbing).
  • Designs, reviews, and implements top-tier data center operations, adhering to ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Guides teams to enhance services and processes while maintaining compliance with customer SLAs.
  • Continuously reviews and improves the preventive maintenance program.
  • Leads incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize customer service disruptions.
  • Ensures strict adherence to safety procedures, laws, and regulations by reviewing and reinforcing safe work responsibilities.
  • Oversees data center-related certifications and ensures compliance for both internal and external customers.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, computing, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications in facilities management and/or data center operations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing 24/7 critical data center operations.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and building facilities management.
  • Capable of leading and supporting major data center activities.
  • Well-versed in local codes and regulations related to data center operations and facility management.
