About the Role

We are looking for a
Vertical Solution Engineer (Mining)
to join our team in Jakarta. This role will play a key part in building the mining industry vertical, combining deep industry knowledge with ICT expertise to help mining clients and partners embrace digital transformation. You will be responsible for
developing mining industry solutions
, identifying business opportunities, engaging with high-level customers, and supporting the Indonesia and APAC teams in delivering commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the
    mining industry landscape
    , including open-pit, smelting, and cement operations.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to formulate go-to-market strategies for mining industry solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Indonesia Rep Office and APAC regional teams to support key projects, customer engagements, and marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with
    partners and system integrators (SIs)
    to tailor ICT solutions for mining scenarios, such as smart mining operations, intelligent connectivity, IoT, and automation.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to continuously optimize mining industry solutions and enhance competitiveness.
  • Participate in planning and executing industry marketing activities, forums, and exhibitions.
  • Develop and share successful case studies, providing enablement for sales and presales teams across the Asia Pacific region.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience
    in the mining industry, with a strong understanding of ICT requirements in open-pit, smelting, or cement operations.
  • Background as an
    IT/Operation Manager or Director
    in a mining company, or experience in
    consulting, system integration (SI), or ICT solution delivery
    for the mining sector.
  • Proven experience in
    ICT project delivery or digital transformation initiatives
    in the mining industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong collaboration mindset and ability to work in a
    cross-regional team
    environment (reporting to APAC HQ).
  • Knowledge of
    scenario-based mining solutions
    and familiarity with
    industrial IoT, connectivity, or automation systems
    is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Mandarin business culture is an advantage.
