We are looking for a
Vertical Solutions Manager (Transportation)
to lead end-to-end solution strategy, business development, and industry engagement for the transportation sector. You will act as the industry expert for transportation (aviation, ports, rail, logistics, toll road, and public transport), helping shape go-to-market strategies, build partnerships, and drive digital transformation projects using ICT solutions.

This role fits professionals who deeply understand transportation operations AND digital/ICT requirements, such as former IT Managers, Operations Managers, Consultants, or Solution Leads in transportation companies.

Key Responsibilities

Industry Expertise & Market Insight

  • Bring deep knowledge of transportation industry operations (aviation, ports, rail, toll roads, logistics, or maritime).
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and industry challenges to identify key opportunities for digital transformation.

Solution Strategy & Business Development

  • Formulate industry solution strategies and drive commercial success for transportation customers.
  • Identify potential projects and work closely with the local team to build and grow the transportation portfolio.
  • Lead solution discussions with C-level and senior stakeholders from government, SOEs, and private transportation companies.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Engage directly with high-level customers to understand pain points, propose scenarios, and position ICT-based solutions.
  • Work with ecosystem partners, integrators, and technology providers to enhance overall solution competitiveness.
  • Support key transportation projects across Indonesia and Asia-Pacific.

Solution Delivery Support & Competitiveness

  • Collect customer requirements and ensure solutions are refined to real operational scenarios (command center, IoT, safety, 5G, automation, etc.).
  • Support the implementation of scenario-based solutions in major accounts.

Marketing & Industry Positioning

  • Plan and execute transportation industry marketing initiatives (seminars, workshops, exhibitions).
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by presenting success cases, best practices, and industry insights.

Requirements

Industry & Functional Background

  • Minimum
    10 years of experience
    in the transportation ecosystem:
  • aviation/airport operations
  • port/maritime
  • rail & mass transit
  • express logistics / supply chain
  • toll road & traffic management
  • transportation service providers
  • Experience as an
    IT Manager, Operations Manager, Solution Consultant, Project Manager, SI/ICT Specialist
    , or related role preferred.

ICT & Project Experience

  • Familiar with ICT technologies used in transportation:
  • networking, data center, cloud
  • IoT sensors
  • tracking/fleet systems
  • command center solutions
  • smart transportation systems
  • Experience in
    ICT project delivery
    in transportation is strongly preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to engage confidently with high-level customers.
  • Team player with good analytical and strategic thinking.

Language

  • English is required;
  • Mandarin is a plus.
