Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Kota Denpasar. The Sous Chef will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, and assisting in menu planning and cost control. The role also includes maintaining kitchen hygiene standards and coordinating with suppliers for ingredient procurement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in culinary arts, including cooking techniques, flavor development, and food presentation
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and maintain a productive and positive work environment
  • Strong organizational skills for menu planning and cost control
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in a high pace dining establishment is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
