Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial engineering tasks under direct supervision
  • Contribute technical skills to the effective completion of projects, working at a graduate or equivalent level
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and other documentation with work completed accurately and to target standards
  • Participate actively in the graduate program and commence the process for professional certification / registration
  • Understand and work to achieve team goals through personal effort
  • Develop an understanding of the industry, professional bodies, the Beca business and its clients, relevant standards and procedures in the discipline
  • Understand and engage in the business and associated operations participating professionally and enthusiastically in project teams, learning about budget and revenue expenditure against client satisfaction measures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering, with a primary focus on structural engineering studies.

  • Experienced with 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering.

  • Strong understanding of structural engineering fundamentals and technical principles.

  • Experience in existing building assessment is preferred, but not essential for candidates with solid technical capability and willingness to learn.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply engineering knowledge to practical projects and collaborate within a team environment.
