About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team at Sikara Lombok Hotel in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. In this contract role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the hotel's essential systems and infrastructure to ensure a comfortable and seamless experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  2. Troubleshoot and promptly resolve any issues or malfunctions with the hotel's equipment and facilities
  3. Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules
  4. Identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and sustainability throughout the hotel
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to other hotel departments as needed
  7. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant degree or technical qualification in engineering, with a focus on building services or facilities management
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineer in the hospitality or commercial property industry
  3. Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems found in hotels
  4. Proficient in using computerised maintenance management systems and other relevant software
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  7. Proactive approach to maintaining a safe, efficient, and sustainable work environment
