About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Sikara Lombok Hotel in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a contract role that will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of engineering teams, including technicians and maintenance staff, to ensure all hotel facilities are properly maintained and operational
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all engineering systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions to hotel operations
  • Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Prepare detailed reports on engineering activities, budgets, and projects
  • Provide technical guidance and training to engineering staff to develop their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role in the hotel/hospitality industry
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient in using computerised maintenance management systems and MS Office applications
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
