This technology enables us to produce unique, novel, and nature-identical aroma ingredients, and in addition, to manufacture pharmaceutical intermediates, functional materials, and other fine chemicals.

Takasago Group maintains offices, production sites, and R&D centers in twenty-seven countries and regions.

Responsibilities:

As a Sweet Application Manager, you will be responsible for performing and developing projects specializing in application of flavor samples, especially sweet samples for submission to customers. You will also lead all projects in sweet application and manage operation of sweet application lab.


You will be based in BSD, and you'll directly report to Head of R&D, in this role you will be responsible for:



• Managing Sweet application laboratory from project initiation through adoption to generate new win projects.

• In charge of screening and creating application bases for Sweet Flavors.

• Improve sweet local library regularly

• Explore on reactive projects for the potential customers.

• Ensure that safe working practices are adhered in the Laboratory.

• Stay abreast of market trends and innovations both regionally and globally

• Regular review of the local, regional and global market product.

• Closely reviewing the local preferences and specific customer requirements by maintaining close contact with our key account teams.

• Provide guidance to technologists to ensure project progress smoothly done and precise.

• Provide guidance, training and coaching to technologist whenever there are new technologies or machineries.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering or any food-related fields
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a flavor house, handling sweet laboratory
  • Excellent sensory skills and knowledge of laboratory procedures and methodology
  • Meticulous and detail orientated
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, and excels as a team player
