Job Summary

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects—particularly within the data center or industrial construction sector. This role ensures all procurement activities comply with company standards, budget requirements, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, quotation, negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, price, reliability, and capacity.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier databases.
  • Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities for construction and MEP materials.
  • Ensure all purchased materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
  • Support procurement planning and budgeting for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Liaise with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth payment and delivery processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in construction procurement (experience in data center projects will be a strong plus).

Industry Knowledge:
Familiar with construction materials, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, and vendor management.

Language: Good command of English (spoken and written).

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
