Job Description

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily procurement activities for mining operations, including materials, equipment, and service contracts.
  2. Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supplier reliability.
  3. Review and evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate terms and pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
  4. Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery in accordance with operational needs.
  5. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, internal controls, and applicable regulations.
  6. Coordinate with related departments (Logistics, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations) to align procurement planning and budgeting.
  7. Prepare procurement reports, vendor performance evaluations, and cost analysis to support management decisions.
  8. Support audit processes and maintain complete and accurate procurement documentation.
  9. Lead, guide, and develop the procurement team to improve efficiency and professionalism.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
  4. Proven negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  6. Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and with external partners.
  7. High integrity, accountability, and commitment to company policies and ethical standards.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  9. Leadership experience in supervising a small to medium-sized team is preferred.
