Job Summary:

The
Photographer
is responsible for capturing high-quality photos and videos of properties within the Vacation Rentals (VR) and Real Estate (RE) divisions. This role involves creating visually appealing content for use in marketing campaigns and property listings. The Photographer also manages post-production tasks, such as photo stacking and video editing, to ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines. Additionally, the Photographer plays a key role in producing 360° virtual tours, keeping the company's visual assets current and competitive with the latest industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Photography and Videography
:

  1. Capture
    high-resolution images
    of newly acquired villas for the VR and RE divisions, ensuring each property is presented in its best light.
  2. Create
    engaging video reels
    that showcase the unique features of properties, suitable for marketing on social media and property listing platforms.

Post-Production
:

  1. Perform
    photo stacking
    and other advanced post-production techniques to enhance image quality and ensure all photos meet the company's brand guidelines.
  2. Ensure consistent
    color correction, lighting adjustments
    , and retouching to maintain a professional and appealing look.

File Management
:

  1. Organize and
    upload all photos and videos
    to the company's WorkDrive, ensuring all files are properly labeled and systematically stored for easy access by other teams.
  2. Maintain a well-structured digital asset library for future use in marketing and listings.

360° Tours
:

  1. Conduct and produce immersive
    360° house and room tours
    , providing potential clients with a comprehensive view of the properties.
  2. Ensure that the virtual tours are visually appealing and user-friendly, enhancing the online property viewing experience.

Trend Monitoring
:

  1. Stay updated with the latest
    photography and videography trends
    on platforms such as Airbnb, ensuring that Betterplace remains competitive and innovative in visual content creation.
  2. Experiment with new techniques and tools to keep visual content fresh and appealing.

Qualifications Required
:

  • Proven experience
    in photography and videography, preferably within the real estate or hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in
    advanced post-production techniques
    such as photo stacking, color correction, and video editing.
  • Experience with 360° virtual tour creation
    , including shooting, editing, and integrating virtual tours into property listings.
  • Strong knowledge of
    camera equipment
    and lighting setups to ensure high-quality visual outputs.
  • Excellent file management
    skills, with the ability to organize, label, and store digital assets systematically.
  • Familiarity with
    current trends
    in property photography, particularly on platforms like Airbnb, to keep content competitive.
  • Proficiency in
    photo and video editing software
    such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail
    to ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and enhances the property's appeal.
