Role Description

We are looking for a
Mid-to-Senior Laravel Developer
to join our Bali-based team. You will be responsible for building and improving our core application, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a good understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using
    Laravel
    .
  • Design and implement APIs and integrations with external services.
  • Work closely with product and business teams to translate financial workflows into robust software logic.
  • Optimize performance and maintain clean, secure, and testable code.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and feature planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in
    Laravel
    (at least 3+ years preferred).
  • Understanding of
    finance
    , including savings and loan account structures, interest and repayment calculations, general ledger and reporting logic.
  • Good
    spoken English
    and clear communication skills.
  • Must be
    based in Bali
    or willing to relocate.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    Java (Spring Boot)
    or
    Rust (Rocket)
    .
  • Frontend knowledge , React, or similar frameworks).
  • Understanding of cooperative (koperasi) business models.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) or cloud platforms.
