The Tax Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end tax compliance, including monthly tax calculations, reporting, and reconciliation in accordance with prevailing tax regulations. This role ensures accurate preparation and submission of corporate tax filings (CIT, VAT, and withholding taxes), maintains proper tax documentation, and coordinates with internal teams to support timely and compliant tax reporting. Proficiency in tax systems such as Coretax, e-Bupot, and e-Tax Invoice is essential.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Handle monthly tax compliance, including preparation and reporting of monthly tax obligations
  • Calculate, prepare, and report tax payable in accordance with prevailing tax regulations
  • Strong experience in preparing, reviewing, and submitting corporate tax returns (e.g., CIT, VAT, WHT) and related reconciliations
  • Conduct tax reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all tax transactions.
  • Proficient in tax software (Coretax, E-bupot, ETaxInvoice ) and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Prepare, review, and submit all company tax reports (VAT, PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPh 25/29, PPh 26) accurately and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with current tax regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather and verify data for tax calculations and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Taxation, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.00/4.00
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a tax consultancy firm or equivalent tax-related role
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Holder of Brevet Tax A, B certification is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and able to work independently
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/tax software
