Job Purpose

To design, govern, and evolve a future-ready technology ecosystem that aligns seamlessly with the organization's strategic business goals. The Enterprise Architect acts as a high-level "blueprint" designer, ensuring that all digital transformation initiatives—including AI integration, cloud modernization, and data strategy—work together as a cohesive, scalable, and resilient whole while reducing technical debt and operational complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate boardroom strategy into actionable technology roadmaps, ensuring every IT investment directly contributes to measurable business outcomes like revenue growth or cost efficiency.
  • Define and maintain Enterprise Architecture (Business, Application, Data, Integration, Technology) and target operating model alignment with business strategy.
  • Reduce long-term total cost of ownership and risk through application landscape rationalization and technology standardization.
  • Own enterprise technology platform selection by defining standards, evaluating options, and ensuring alignment with business strategy and target architecture.
  • Establish and run Architecture Governance (architecture review board, standards, reference architectures, design approval).
  • Lead current-state assessment and maturity gap analysis; define transition architectures and modernization sequencing.
  • Ensure security-by-design and compliance requirements are embedded into architecture patterns and project designs.
  • Evaluating and safely integrating AI into core business processes: Agentic AI, Digital Twin, Augmented Analytics, Predictive AI, Intelligent Automation, Computer Vision.
  • Maintain an architecture repository (C4 diagrams, system landscape, data flows, canonical models, ADRs) and enforce "right-sized documentation".
  • Partner with Product, Development, Data, and Operations heads to ensure delivery conforms to enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent. Master's/MBA preferred.

Required Technical Skills

  • Enterprise architecture frameworks and modeling (business capability maps, C4, ArchiMate/UML).
  • Integration patterns (API management, event-driven patterns, ETL/ELT, middleware/iPaaS).
  • ERP & enterprise platforms exposure (SAP landscape concepts, integration approaches).
  • Knowledge and exposure to cloud platforms, data analytics and microservices architecture.
  • Data architecture fundamentals (MDM concepts, data lineage, analytics architectures).
  • Strategic Domain Driven Design.
  • Proficiency with the SAFE 6.0 framework is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications

  • TOGAF (required)
  • Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP) – nice to have
  • IT governance familiarity (COBIT) – nice to have
