About the role

Join the dynamic team at PT TURBO DIESEL INTERNATIONAL as a Commercial Manager. In this full-time role based in Batam Kota Riau Islands, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's commercial success. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial activities and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

  1. Build and nature client relationships in order to continue winning new job order.
  2. Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth;
  3. Works with other department heads to determine company goals;
  4. Overseeing the performance for the commercial team;
  5. Overseeing the preparation of proposals, quotes and commercial contracts;
  6. Monitoring budgeting expenses;
  7. Assist Operations Teams to communicate with customers any resolving problems;
  8. Providing regular performance reports and commercial insights to senior management;
  9. Review all quotations and related documents before sending them to customers;
  10. Leading and mentoring a team of sales and customer service professionals;
  11. Receive complaints from customers or ship owners and coordinate follow-up actions with the operations team;
  12. Communicate with the Operations Supervisor (OS) regarding inspections, witness balancing, and job progress until completion;
  13. Coordinate with the operations team regarding job planning for ongoing work, next-day schedules, and upcoming jobs;

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial or sales management role, preferably within Commercial Manager.
  3. Strong understanding of the Marketing Assistants/Coordinators sector and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
  4. Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales and marketing campaigns
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  6. Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve ambitious target.
