**This position is for PaxOcean Group, a company under Kuok Group Singapore.**

The role supports Batam commercial operations across ship repairs, conversions and newbuilding segments.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Execute the commercial strategies to meet revenue and margin targets for ship repairs conversions and newbuilds.
- Handle enquiries from customers and manage competitive quotations/tariffs for Batam yards.
- Follow-up the tenders with customers and agents and negotiating the Contracts/Projects.
- Supervise team of estimators and commercial invoicing officers to ensure they discharge duties in accurate and timely manner.
- Handle client management of all Batam yards, as and when required and submitting reports.
- Work with the Yard Operations team to maintain optimal critical inventory levels for materials and consumables.
- Assess all risks and make recommendations based on analysis of factors affecting a business situation.
- Provide functional and management support in the management of change, including negotiation and settlement of Change/Variation Orders with the clients.
- Review of existing company procedures and policies on commercial management, and provide constructive feedback for refining/updating of the existing procedures.
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering field
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the commercial - Shipyard.
- Conversant in Salesforce and/or Power BI
- Team player
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Language competency in Bahasa Indonesia is strongly preferred.
