Overview:

  1. Manages all aspects of Transformation communication; delivers and pushes communications to the frontlines; supports leaders throughout the organization in developing Change Stories

  2. Co-develop and co-deliver transformation capability building programs

Role Requirements:

A. Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in one of the following areas:

o Strategy function (preferable in business channel)

o Project management

o Coaching or leadership development

B. Strong understanding of agency operations and strategic initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Proven experience in communications and public relation both within and outside of the organization

  2. Deep understanding of practices in communication, including producing content for different channels (web, in-person, written, video, social media, etc.)

  3. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and coaching skills

  4. High-performing individual with strong standing and good network within the organization

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Works with CAO, Head of SDU Office, Executive Team and Workstream Sponsors to deliver Transformation communications

  2. Prepares regular Transformation communications including weekly email, videos, web content, newsletters, etc. to make the transformation progress transparent to the entire organization

  3. Advises leaders on the best forms of communication to reinforce the Transformation goals

  4. Supports roadshows, town halls, site meetings and other communications for for the Transformation

  5. Supports leaders in creating Change Stories at all levels of the organization

  6. Coordinates the development of the Change Stories that cascade from the CAO down to the front line

  7. Coaches leaders on the development and delivery of Change Stories

  8. Disseminates change stories for the organization through intranet and to the public through internal and social media

  9. Becomes a frontline change agent for the Transformation

  10. Shares key messages on the front lines of the Transformation

  11. Promotes and supports key reward and recognition efforts across the organization

  12. Works closely with workstream sponsors to support communications as a tool of organizational health improvement

  13. Develop and deliver capability building jointly with L&D

  14. Launch surveys to identify capability level and gaps

  15. Develop capability building programs jointly with L&D team and coordinate delivery with L&D team

Key Interactions:

  1. Drafts periodic leadership emails / communications to the whole organization

  2. Assists other members of the team to align with overall communications

  3. Regular working sessions with workstream sponsors as needed to support creation of change stories
