Job Purpose:

To support smooth and accurate communication between Chinese expatriates and local employees by providing professional translation and interpretation services, while also assisting in cross-cultural coordination within daily operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Translation & Interpretation

  2. Provide oral interpretation (consecutive/simultaneous) between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia in meetings, training sessions, and daily interactions.

  3. Translate documents, SOPs, technical manuals, reports, and internal memos between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.

  4. Management Communication Support

  5. Assist Chinese managers in communicating with local staff across departments, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding.

  6. Cross-Cultural Bridge

  7. Help facilitate effective teamwork and collaboration by bridging cultural differences in work styles and communication.

  8. Meeting & Administrative Support

  9. Participate in internal and external meetings as interpreter and note-taker.

  10. Assist with documentation and reporting as needed.

  11. Other Tasks

  12. Perform other interpretation, translation, or administrative duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Language, Chinese Literature, Linguistics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 4 or above) and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in interpretation/translation, preferably in manufacturing or food industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
  • Willing to work on-site at the Cikarang plant and interpret in both office and production areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with technical or production-related terminology (QA, HR, Engineering, etc.).
  • Prior experience working in a Chinese company.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
