About the role

We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our team at PT INDOBANGUN BERJAYA KONSTRUKSI. This full-time role is based in Subang, West Java and will play a crucial part in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.

What you'll be doing

  1. Translate a wide range of documents, including contracts, reports, and correspondence, from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa
  2. Interpret during meetings, phone calls, and other business interactions with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
  3. Provide cultural and linguistic guidance to ensure clear and effective communication
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all translation and interpretation activities
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives
  6. Continuously improve your language proficiency and translation skills

What we're looking for

  1. Fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  2. Minimum 1 years of professional translation and/or interpretation experience, preferably in a business or commercial setting
  3. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality translations
  4. Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and concepts, particularly in the construction industry
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  6. Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
