Trade Marketing Manager

As they continue to expand their presence, they are seeking a dedicated Trade Marketer to join the team and drive the success of the organization. As a Trade Marketing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing trade marketing strategies while collaborating closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure the growth and profitability of the product lines focusing on baby care.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Marketing Strategy
: Develop and implement comprehensive trade marketing plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share for the products - Channel Management
: Identify, evaluate, and manage key distribution channels, including retail stores, pharmacies, and e-commerce platforms, to optimize product visibility and availability - Promotions and Campaigns
: Plan and execute trade promotions, campaigns, and activations tailored to target audiences, including mothers and caregivers, to drive product sales and brand awareness - Merchandising
: Collaborate with retailers to ensure effective in-store merchandising, shelf placement, and POS materials to enhance product visibility and customer engagement - Data Analysis
: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, making data-driven decisions to improve product performance - Trade Marketing Materials
: Develop and distribute trade marketing materials to support sales teams and partners - Cross-functional Collaboration
: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align trade marketing strategies with overall business objectives - Budget Management
: Manage the trade marketing budget effectively, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to achieve desired results - Market Research
: Conduct regular market research to gather insights, consumer preferences, and competitive intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies - Reporting
: Provide regular reports and updates on trade marketing activities, sales performance, and market trends to senior management
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong understanding of trade marketing principles, strategies, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing campaigns
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- A passion for the
mom and baby
industry and a deep understanding of consumer needs in the segment will be a major plus
