PT REA KALTIM PLANTATIONS is a leading company in the palm oil industry, dedicated to sustainable practices, we are committed to enhancing our operations and are currently seeking a skilled Hydraulic Specialist to join our dynamic team.

As a Hydraulic Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing hydraulic systems used in our palm oil plantations. Your expertise will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our operations, ensuring that our equipment runs smoothly and effectively.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Planned, maintained, and repaired hydraulic systems, components, and equipment inspections to make sure they operated as intended.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues both stationary and mobile equipment and offer suggestions for fixing it.
  3. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement hydraulic solutions or alter current ones to suit Mills' requirements.
  4. Train the operator as a whole with effective and safe training in the use of hydraulic equipment.
  5. Hydraulic equipment needs to be maintained continuously to guarantee the viability of operating activities.
  6. Installing hydraulic machinery, including cylinders, pumps, and valves, hose line cutting and crimping.
  7. Disassembling the hydraulic pipe, pneumatic system, and hydraulic system.
  8. Component maintenance, assembly, mounting, removal, troubleshooting, and repair for pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, ideally in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related field.
  2. Possesses proven experience in hydraulic systems, preferably in an agricultural or industrial setting.
  3. Possess computer proficiency, reporting abilities, and a foundational education.
  4. Be familiar with the forms and functions of a variety of tools and machines.
  5. Recognize the designs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  6. Recognize and use calipers, design drawings, length and angle measurement devices, and blueprints.
  7. Comprehend and be able to interpret work schedules and paperwork, including standard operating and maintenance procedures, safety rules, and operating and maintenance work instructions.
