The Shipping Operations and Finance Executive supports the shipping operations and finance departments, ensuring smooth coordination of logistics activities and accurate financial administration.

Job Description
Shipping Operations

  • Coordinate and monitor daily shipping activities, including vessel schedules, cargo handling, and port operations.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Delivery Orders, and Manifests.
  • Liaise with shipping lines, port authorities, customs, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant operations.
  • Track shipments and resolve any operational issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo movements and operational reports.
  • Support the planning and execution of vessel berthing schedules.

Finance Administration

  • Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for billing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Support monthly and annual financial closing processes.
  • Monitor operational expenses and assist in budget tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping operations and/or finance administration.
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation and basic financial processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
