Superintendent Safety

PURPOSE

• To conduct research and make strategic decisions with full accountability and responsibility for all Aspects that are under the responsibility of the field Expertise
• To provide technical support for project areas with regards to carry out K3 & KO in best practices and work closely with Department Head, PJO and representatives.
• To provide technical support and facilitation of SMKP and Objective Target & Program implementation in Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development and Create K3 & KO at the Activity & Business Partner.
• To assist in the OHS fulfilling competencies and readiness of Emergency Plan of Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development & Business Partners.
• Evaluate the OHS system & readiness emergency responses at the Activity of Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development Scopes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Operation Coordination Responsibilities

• Coordinate necessary support activities within Safety Dept and or other departments to ensure the work assignments are conducted on time.
• Ensure the data & Study collection/report from Infrastructure, Facility & Project Department in accordance to Implementation SMKP & Objectives Target & Program.
• Coordinate government inspector, consultant visits to major projects including setup itinerary, staffing requirements, and logistics etc. to support the activity.
• Manage useful research and development for companies, society and science, and able to get National and international recognition

Safety Management System

• Have a working knowledge of the ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 & SMKP.
• Assist in the development of Performance Indicators, Site and Departmental Goals (Top Ten), 3W forms to improve environmental performance and reduce risk, Change Management Register.
• Participate and facilitate Quarterly & Yearly Risk and Opportunity Register review.
• Participate as an internal auditor for Internal & External Audit Program, assessor as well.
• Prepare materials related to OHS Management in Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development for Management Review.
• Develops & Maintain all Procedures K3 & KO in Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development
• Communicate and Facilitating Dept Infrastructure, Facility & Project Development to execute and achieving OTP

Reporting

• Support company fulfils its SMKP & Government reporting obligations to the Government of Indonesia, Lenders and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the data collection/report from Projects in accordance to SMKP and permitting requirements and meet the reporting submission targets.
• Submit weekly report timely.
• Support other regular government evaluation process GMP
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of S1 Degree in Majoring Occupational Health and Safety
• Preferred or Specialized: OHS Educational Background. Candidates with Fire engineering degree should have a strong OHS science background.
• Management and supervisory experience with emphasis on training, staff development, and budgetary management
• Be able to apply and maintain knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and SMKP frameworks in operational practices.
• Be able to interpret and apply relevant mining safety regulations (1827.K/30/MEM/2018 and 185.K/37.04/DJB/2019).
• Be able to manage SMKP and government reporting processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
• ISO 45001 Internal Auditor Certification (required).
• ISO 14001 Internal Auditor Certification (required).
• SMKP (Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan) Certification (required).
• OHSAS or equivalent Safety Management System training (preferred).
• Risk Management and Environmental Compliance training (preferred).
