Company Description

Our client is an early-stage electric motorcycle startup redefining urban mobility in Indonesia with design-led, lifestyle-focused electric scooters. With strong early traction, they are now building a scalable sales engine to turn growing demand into pre-orders and future deliveries.

Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive for a full-time hybrid role based in Jakarta, Indonesia, who will work from office and on the field. The Sales Executive will focus on converting marketing leads into committed pre-order, designing a scalable sales motion to be rolled out, and shape the company's end-to-end customer buying experience.

This position will be responsible in:

Drive leads into pre-orders

  • Own the full sales journey
    from inbound lead to paid pre-order.
  • Follow up with leads from
    events, test rides, social media, website, and community partners
    .
  • Run structured discovery to
    understand customer needs and address objections.
  • Engage prospects
    via WhatsApp, calls, in-person meetings, and digital tools.
  • Build and maintain an
    organized lead pipeline
    using a CRM or lightweight tools (e.g., HubSpot, Airtable, or similar).
  • Systematically
    track conversion rates
    , time-to-close, and reasons for win/loss.

Build Scalable Sales Playbook

  • Define the ideal customer journey from first contact to pre-order.
  • Establish sales SOPs
    , including qualification criteria, follow-ups, and objection handling.
  • Create
    simple, repeatable playbooks
    that can be used by future sales reps.
  • Test and refine sales approaches (A/B tests on scripts, drip sequences, incentives, and promos) and document what works.
  • Work closely with Marketing to
    align campaigns, messaging, and offers
    so leads arrive "pre-educated" and ready to buy.

Own the Customer Buying Experience

  • Deliver a premium, consistent experience across
    test rides, showroom/pop-up visits, WhatsApp chats, calls, emails
    .
  • Capture
    customer insights
    (pricing sensitivity, key objections, feature priorities) and share feedback with Product, Design, and Marketing.
  • Coordinate with Operations to
    ensure a smooth transition
    from pre-order to delivery.
  • Support sales enablement content ideas
    for FAQs, sales decks, scripts, and customer education.

Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Report weekly on
    leads, conversion rates by stage, pre-orders, and revenue forecast
    .
  • Work closely with the Founder & CEO to refine
    targets, pricing, and incentives
    .
  • Collaborate with Marketing on
    lead quality
    and with Product on
    customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Daily motorcycle user and enthusiast
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2C sales, account management, or business development
  • Proven track record of closing deals from inbound leads (ideally in automative, motorcycles, property, premium electronics, or financial products).
  • Comfortable in using CRM software/tools and basic analytics to track pipeline and performace.
  • Strog communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and Conversational English; confident in both online and offline selling
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to meet or exceed sales targets effectively.
  • Comfortable working in early-stage startup environments
  • Familiarity with consumer financing (leasing, pay-by-month, installment partners) common in 2-wheeler sales is an advantage
  • Experience running pop-ups, events, or showroom-based sales is preferred
