Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Machine Operator located in Surabaya. The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of fiber optic cables. Daily tasks include monitoring machine performance, inspecting products for quality assurance, utilizing hand tools for adjustments, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Effective communication with team members and reporting on production progress will also be integral to the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Machine Operation and understanding of basic Machinery functions
  • Experience in Quality Control and product inspection for ensuring performance standards
  • Skill in handling and utilizing Hand Tools for equipment adjustments and maintenance
  • Strong Communication skills for effective coordination with team members
  • Attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow technical instructions
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
  • Engineering / diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certification is an advantage
