About the role

We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our dynamic team at PT. INTEGRITAS PERKASA KONSTRUKSI' on a contract basis. As our Mandarin Translator, you will play a vital role in facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between our organisation and our Chinese-speaking clients and partners. This position is based in our office in West Jakarta, Jakarta Raya.

What you'll be doing

  1. Provide accurate and reliable Mandarin-to-English and English-to-Mandarin translations for a wide range of business documents, including contracts, presentations, reports, and correspondence
  2. Interpret Mandarin-English conversations during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions
  3. Assist in the localisation of marketing and promotional materials for our Chinese-speaking audience
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear and effective communication across language barriers
  5. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of sensitive information
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation and interpretation

What we're looking for

  1. Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages
  2. High School graduate (SMA) or higher. Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related field is an advantage, or equivalent experience.
  3. At least 1 years of professional experience as a Mandarin translator or interpreter
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in your work
  5. Familiarity with various translation tools and technologies
  6. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle a diverse workload
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
