Our client is a luxurious boutique beach property situated on the most idyllic island of Nusa Lembongan, Indonesia.

As the Director of Human Resources, the role works closely with the executive team to lead and manage all aspects of the Human Resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, general affairs, administration, training, and development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and aligning HR strategies with business goals to support operational success.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR leadership experience in the hospitality sector, preferably within luxury villas, resorts, or boutique hotels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing HR functions, including recruitment, industrial relations, and employee relations.
  • Strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
  • Experience in a similar business scale in Bali is highly preferred.
  • Proactive, organised, and capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Willing to relocate to Nusa Lembongan.
  • A strong people person with a collaborative and hands-on approach.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and oversee the overall HR function, including recruitment, employee engagement, administration, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain HR systems, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations and legal compliance.
  • Manage employee documentation, contracts, insurance, and personnel data with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Handle industrial and employee relations effectively, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Supervise onboarding and probation evaluation processes for new employees.
  • Oversee payroll, remuneration, severance, and benefits administration in coordination with the finance team.
  • Collaborate with management to plan and execute employee programs, training, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and labour regulations.
  • Coordinate accommodation, transportation, and other staff welfare matters when required.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
