IT Onsite Engineer (Microsoft 365 & Active Directory)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain
    user accounts, groups, and access permissions
    in
    Active Directory (AD)
    and
    Azure AD
    .
  • Administer
    Microsoft 365 services
    , including
    Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
    , ensuring system reliability and user accessibility.
  • Handle
    user provisioning, password resets, and access control
    , while enforcing IT security and compliance policies.
  • Perform
    system maintenance, patching, and software updates
    on Windows servers and user endpoints to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Conduct
    backup and restore operations
    , ensuring data integrity and recovery availability during system failures or incidents.
  • Provide
    onsite technical support
    for hardware, software, and network issues, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Resolve issues related to
    Microsoft 365 applications
    , such as Outlook synchronization, Teams connectivity, and OneDrive access.
  • Configure and deploy
    Office 365 applications
    via
    Intune or SCCM
    , and ensure endpoint compliance with company standards.
  • Manage
    network drives, shared folders, and VPN configurations
    for local and remote users.
  • Monitor and log
    incidents and service requests
    using ticketing systems like
    ServiceNow, JIRA, or Freshdesk
    .
  • Collaborate with
    System Administrators and Network Engineers
    for advanced issue resolution, patch testing, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Maintain accurate
    documentation
    , including maintenance reports, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
