What you'll be doing

  • Inspecting construction materials, equipment and work processes to identify and address any quality or safety issues
  • Conducting thorough testing and evaluations to verify that all fire safety systems and components meet relevant codes and standards
  • Documenting inspection findings and communicating them effectively to project managers and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with construction teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measures
  • Maintaining detailed records and reports to support regulatory compliance and project audits
  • Providing training and guidance to construction workers on quality control best practices

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire safety systems, building codes, and construction standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation processes
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction quality control, fire safety, or a related field
