Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing accounting operations, reconciling financial discrepancies and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Additionally, the role includes evaluating financial performance, supporting audits, and providing financial insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:


• Responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.


• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)


• Support documentation for tax audit or tax inquiries when required


• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


• Monitor cash flow and support basic budgeting activities


• Maintain proper financial records and internal controls


• Ensure daily financial transactions are recorded in accordance with
PSAK
and internal policies.


• Support warehouse and production teams, with physical inventory count and inventory reconciliations.


• Skilled in registering employees, managing monthly contributions, and handling BPJS claims.


• Experienced in BPJS audits and compliance reporting


• Process payroll for employees in the dedicated payroll software


• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal adjustments for costs and asset depreciation.


• Prepare financial statements and supporting documents for internal and external audit purposes.


• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax (Article 21/23), VAT, and e-Invoice reporting.


• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and inventory departments to ensure data consistency across functions.

Nice to have:

  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions (invoices, recharges, management fees, royalty/service agreements, loans/interest, cost allocations)

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company.


• Strong knowledge of PSAK, cost accounting, and accounting systems.


• Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian taxation (Brevet A & B certification is an advantage).


• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.


• High integrity with strong communication and coordination skills.
