The Travel Consultant will be responsible for handling holiday bookings, ticketing, and customer support for both retail and VIP clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery aligned with the company's standards. Based in the Bali branch, the consultant will serve as the local point of contact for clients and suppliers, while coordinating with the Holidays Manager and the wider operations team across branches. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to deliver seamless travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Service & Bookings


• Handle holiday and leisure travel requests, including flights, hotels, transfers, tours, and packages.


• Deliver personalized itineraries and ensure high-quality service for VIP and high-value clients.


• Provide destination knowledge and travel advice specific to Bali and surrounding regions.


• Ensure bookings are accurate, cost-effective, and aligned with client preferences.

Ticketing & Documentation


• Issue flight tickets through GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) with accuracy and efficiency.


• Manage amendments, cancellations, and reissues in compliance with airline and company policies.


• Provide clients with all necessary travel documents (vouchers, itineraries, e-tickets, insurance, visas).

Coordination & Support


• Work closely with the Holidays Manager for escalations, VIP requests, or complex bookings.


• Liaise with the Optimization Department when facing mapping errors, relocation needs or booking discrepancies.


• Maintain strong supplier relationships with hotels, DMCs, and activity providers in Bali.

Sales & Revenue Contribution


• Proactively upsell and cross-sell travel products (tours, excursions, upgrades, insurance).


• Support promotional campaigns and special offers as directed by the Holidays Manager.


• Track and meet individual sales targets and contribute to branch revenue goals.

Reporting & Compliance


• Prepare daily and weekly booking and sales reports for the Holidays Manager.


• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, industry regulations, and customer service standards.


• Keep accurate records of client interactions and bookings in the company system.

Qualifications & Skills


• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.


• 2–4 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role in an OTA, wholesaler, or agency.


• Strong knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and booking engines.


• Familiarity with Bali and Southeast Asia travel products and destinations.


• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).


• Customer service–oriented with strong problem-solving skills.


• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and reservation systems.
