The Strategic Talent Partner will play a critical role in sourcing and recruiting top-tier talent for both our Indonesian and Indian operations, specifically within the financial services sector. We're seeking someone with a strong background in headhunting, ideally from major recruitment firms, who has experience in multicultural environments and can confidently communicate in clear, fluent English. This person should be well-versed in the industry and bring expertise in building a high-performing, globally aware team that aligns with our growth ambitions, as well as highly skilled in building networks, managing employer branding activities, and engaging in industry events to enhance our brand visibility.

What your current role should be like?

  • Talent Acquisition Expertise: Develop and drive talent acquisition strategies specifically for the financial services sector, ensuring alignment with budget constraints and organizational goals for both Indonesia and India.
  • Network & Sourcing Specialist: Build and leverage relationships with top headhunting agencies and recruitment networks to attract high-caliber talent, particularly for tech and non-tech roles across various levels in financial services.
  • Multicultural Collaboration: Demonstrate multicultural competence by working effectively in diverse environments, adapting communication and engagement strategies to suit the cultural context of each region.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytical skills to guide recruitment processes, applying insights from hiring metrics, salary benchmarking, and market trends to optimize talent acquisition.
  • Candidate Journey Champion: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience by managing expectations, following SLA guidelines, and maintaining an efficient interview process to foster strong employer branding.
  • Stakeholder Partner: Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, providing recruitment insights and fostering collaborative relationships with leadership and hiring managers to meet the organization's growth goals.
  • Employer Branding Contributor: Actively participate in employer branding efforts, including industry events and recognition programs, to enhance brand visibility.

What will you do?

  • Talent Strategy & Acquisition: Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies for Indonesia and India, focusing on financial services roles and ensuring alignment with hiring budgets.
  • Sourcing & Networking: Leverage networks and relationships within major headhunting services to source high-caliber candidates, particularly in financial services.
  • Employer Branding: Handle employer branding events, including award recognitions, to elevate our brand presence. Join all marketing events, such as startup conferences, to promote our employer brand effectively.
  • Multicultural Collaboration: Partner with senior management and department heads across Indonesia and India to understand hiring needs, provide market insights, and support decision-making in a multicultural context.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate journey by managing expectations, providing feedback, and creating a seamless recruitment process, following our SLA and optimizing the interview funnel to maintain a smooth experience.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed about talent trends and competition within the financial services industry, and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly.
  • Process Efficiency: Ensure the hiring process adheres to SLA, including maintaining an efficient funnel and well-structured interview stages to enhance the candidate experience.
Requirements

What do you have?

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree from a reputable university, either in Indonesia or abroad, ideally with a focus on human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years in talent acquisition, ideally within top recruitment agencies or headhunting firms, with a strong portfolio in financial services. Experience in hiring for tech and non-tech roles across various levels within the financial services sector, and the ability to hire within budget constraints.
  • Multicultural Competence: Demonstrated experience working in multicultural environments, with the ability to adapt communication and approach to diverse backgrounds.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively with global teams and candidates.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the financial services sector and talent requirements, particularly for tech-driven financial services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to collaborate with leadership and manage relationships with both internal teams and external agencies.
  • Analytical Skills: A data-driven approach to recruitment, with the ability to analyze market trends, candidate data, and hiring metrics.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication skills, adept at negotiating offers and influencing stakeholders.
  • ATS and Salary Benchmarking: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and experienced in conducting salary benchmarking to attract top talent within industry standards.
  • Networking Skills: Highly adept at building connections within the industry to enhance sourcing capabilities and strengthen employer branding.
  • Employer Branding: Proven experience in employer branding activities, enhancing the organization's presence in the talent market.
