Food Service Business Development Specialist
About the Role:
This role focuses on driving growth in the Food Service segment through strategic business development, data-driven insights, and strong collaboration across functions. You will identify opportunities, optimize performance, and ensure continuous improvement to achieve commercial success.
Professional Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with a high bias for action
- Solid business acumen and organizational awareness
- Ability to build and maintain strong networks and relationships
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to identify growth opportunities
- Proficiency in leveraging data-driven insights for decision-making and strategy development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow Food Service business across national, regional, and area levels
- Maintain and update weekly Hit List Priority Customers and monitor progress
- Track and analyze weekly sales performance using data-driven insights to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with Regional Managers, Marketing, and Trade Marketing teams to provide insights and analysis on promotional activities
- Monitor competitor activities and share commercial insights with Regional Managers and technical insights with Corporate Chef
- Share best practices across the Food Service team to ensure product quality, technical excellence, and customer benefits
- Diagnose performance gaps and define corrective actions to drive continuous improvement
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Food Service
