We are looking for a Product Development  Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the beauty industry. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing end-to-end product development, from market research and trend analysis to formulation and product launch. This role requires strong skills in developing product concepts based on consumer insights, collaborating across functions (R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, and Production), and ensuring product quality and safety meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analyze market trends to develop a strategic product roadmap aligned with brand strategy and positioning.
  • Conceptualize innovative products with a clear Unique Selling Point (USP), ensuring Product-Market Fit (PMF) and commercial viability.
  • Manage the end-to-end product development cycle, including formulation, panel testing, user insights, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams—including R&D, Marketing, Vendors/Suppliers, and Operations to manage project timelines and ensure on-time product launches.
  • Analyze and manage product costing (COGS).
Qualifications :
  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in any major but prefer in Chemistry, Pharmacy or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in beauty/skincare product development.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
  • Keep up with beauty market trends, both local and international, regarding products, ingredients, and consumer needs.
  • Proven track record of successful product conceptualization and launch.
  • Proficient in reviewing and applying scientific literature for active ingredient and formulation trends / innovation.
  • Willing to work full-time (WFO) in Cibubur, Bekasi.
