What you'll do:

As Head of Supply Chain you will play a central role in shaping the organisation's operational success by orchestrating every aspect of the supply chain from procurement through to final delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve designing forward-thinking strategies that optimise costs while ensuring products are available when needed. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, finance, manufacturing, PPIC (Production Planning & Inventory Control), QA (Quality Assurance), R&D (Research & Development), HR as well as external partners including suppliers, logistics vendors, freight forwarders, distributors, export-import regulators and auditors. By leveraging advanced digital technologies like ERP systems and forecasting tools you will drive process improvements that enhance visibility and resilience across the entire network. Your ability to nurture talent within your team will be key in building a culture of shared success where analytical skills flourish alongside strong interpersonal connections.   • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies that ensure product availability aligns with market needs while maintaining optimal costs.
  • Direct procurement activities to guarantee quality materials and services, continuity of supply, risk mitigation, and cost effectiveness across all categories.
  • Manage inventory policies for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to balance service levels, cash flow optimisation, and minimise risks related to expiry or slow-moving stock.
  • Build and strengthen the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by integrating sales, finance, and manufacturing functions for holistic decision-making.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives including S&OP enhancements, ERP implementation, demand forecasting tools adoption, inventory optimisation systems deployment, and visibility improvements.
  • Lead demand and supply planning efforts to ensure alignment between production capacity, inventory levels, and market requirements both domestically and internationally.
  • Oversee warehouse management and distribution operations to maintain stock accuracy, delivery reliability, and an effective logistics network.
  • Cultivate supplier relationships through strategic contract negotiations that support long-term sustainability of supply chains.
  • Develop the capabilities of the supply chain team by providing coaching opportunities, building analytical competencies, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Proactively manage risks associated with supplier dependency, demand volatility, logistics disruptions, and regulatory changes to safeguard business continuity.

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related business fields; Master's Degree in Management/Operations is highly desirable for this senior position.
  • At least 15 years' experience in FMCG supply chain management with a proven track record of at least 7 years in senior leadership roles overseeing end-to-end processes including procurement planning warehousing distribution.
  • Deep understanding of demand planning methodologies procurement best practices inventory control warehousing operations logistics optimisation techniques relevant to large-scale consumer goods businesses.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing S&OP frameworks supplier development programmes risk management strategies that mitigate volatility across complex networks.
  • Advanced analytical skills enabling you to manage intricate demand patterns production capacities cost structures while making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/SCM platforms such as SAP Oracle WMS plus proficiency in using forecasting tools for accurate planning visibility enhancement.
