The firm works directly with CXOs and senior management, offering an intellectually challenging and growth-oriented environment.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for demand forecasting, S&OP alignment, and inventory optimization to support business growth and operational efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Finance.

This position is ideal for professionals with a strong analytical mindset, proven planning experience, and the confidence to interact with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market insights.
  • Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and inventory strategies.
  • Collaborate with Supply Planning, Sales, and Procurement teams to optimize stock levels and improve service performance.
  • Analyze sales trends, new product launches, and promotion impacts to refine demand forecasts.
  • Lead or support Demand Review Meetings with cross-functional stakeholders and regional managers.
  • Manage inventory health, including SLOB (slow and obsolete) analysis and replenishment planning.
  • Utilize ERP / planning tools (SAP, Excel, Power BI, etc.) for data-driven reporting and scenario modeling.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance forecast accuracy and streamline supply chain operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial, or Mechanical discipline from a reputed Indonesian university (e.g., Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Brawijaya, etc.).
  • MBA / Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain Management preferred.

  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning in reputable organizations such as:

  • FMCG: Indofood, Mayora, Grup Tempo

  • Pharma: Kalbe, Kimia Farma
  • Auto / Manufacturing: Astra International, Toyota Astra, AkzoNobel, Mitsubishi Motors
  • Retail / Distribution: Decathlon, large e-commerce or distribution groups

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of forecasting models, S&OP processes, and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Advanced), SAP, Power BI, or similar planning tools.
  • Exposure to regional or multi-country planning environments is an advantage.
  • Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia proficiency assumed).
  • Strong interpersonal confidence and client-facing maturity to engage with senior executives.
  • Professional appearance, leadership potential, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle dynamic business requirements.
