The role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Passion in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the in overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • As Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and staff
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement innovative menu items
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage the kitchen budget
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-quality restaurant or hotel
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating a kitchen team
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
