What Are We Building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.

Our current tech stack includes React Native for mobile applications, ReactJs for web app powered by Rest APIs developed with JAVA using Spring and Hibernate.

Role Overview

Rize is looking for a
Finance Accounting Manager
to lead our end-to-end finance operations and ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial discipline across the company. You will manage monthly closing and reporting, oversee cashflow and working capital planning, strengthen internal controls, and support decision-making with clear financial insights. This role works closely with leaders across Operations, Product, and Supply Chain, while also mentoring junior finance staff and driving process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes.
• Lead monthly closing, financial reporting, and analysis, including variance commentary against budget and actuals.
• Strengthen internal controls, streamline processes, and drive automation/digitalization across finance workflows.
• Partner with Country Head, Ops, Product, and Supply Chain to support decision-making with data-driven insights.
• Manage statutory compliance, taxation, and audit matters in coordination with external auditors and advisors.
• Own cashflow planning, working capital tracking, and forecasting to support operational priorities.
• Review and validate financial data quality across Zoho Books, Xendit, and internal systems; drive continuous improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, ensuring capability building and alignment with company processes.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA/CMA) is a strong plus.
• 6–8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, audit, or FP&A.
• Solid understanding of Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with financial systems and tools (Zoho Books, Excel/Google Sheets, and finance-ops integrations).
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with shifting priorities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with non-finance teams.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in agri-tech, supply-chain-driven businesses, or field-operations-heavy companies.
• Track record of improving processes, automating workflows, or implementing new systems.
• Hands-on, proactive problem solver who can operate independently while maintaining high accuracy and integrity.
