About the role

This is a contract role for an Export-Import Staff to join the team at PT Samsung SDS Global SCL Indonesia with a 3rd party vendor employment. As an Export-Import Staff, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end export and import processes for the company's clients. This is a crucial role supporting the broader logistics and supply chain operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and processing all necessary documentation for export and import shipments
  2. Coordinating with customs authorities, logistics providers and clients to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods
  3. Maintaining detailed records and reports on all import and export activities
  4. Communicating with clients to provide updates and resolve any issues or queries
  5. Supporting the wider logistics team with other administrative and operational tasks as required

What we're looking for

  1. At least 2 years' experience in an export-import or logistics role, preferably within the freight/cargo forwarding industry
  2. Strong knowledge of export-import regulations, documentation requirements and customs clearance procedures
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, authorities and logistics providers
  4. Proficient in using relevant software and IT systems to manage logistics data and documentation
  5. Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team to meet deadlines
  6. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
