Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Seafreight Export Operations role located in Jakarta. The Seafreight Export Operations will be responsible for:

  • Handle day-to-day ocean export operations.
  • Responsible for all ocean export shipping documents arrangement .
  • Daily liaising with carriers, external parties, overseas counterparts, customer service, customers, and other operations team member on the service delivery arrangement.
  • Solve any logistics issues with the consultation to the superior.
  • Key in ocean export cargo details including related cost into the system as per guidelines.
  • Sea Export Operation Staff is authorized to carry out all of the above functions and to control all non-conforming products.
  • Liaise with the respective suppliers in the ocean export/domestic delivery chain (shipping line, trucker, customs officer, customs agent, etc) to deal with formalities as per regulation and ensure the ocean export order is arranged well.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is often preferred.
  • Min 1 year-experience in the freight forwarding business or shipping line or in Export/Import department of any company
  • Familiar with export clearance and ocean export procedures
  • English proficiency both verbal and written is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work thoroughly, accurate, and attention to details
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Be able to multitask and prioritizing tasks
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
